Visit to the Sesimbra Caves

• This tour is subject to weather and sea conditions. In case of adverse conditions, it may be rescheduled;
• Minimum capacity of 8 adults per trip to be filled by a group of people;
• The registration fee for children up to 11 years old is valid only when they are not part of the minimum capacity;
• All participants are covered by insurance inside our boats, according to the Tourism Permit of Portugal No. 335/2015;
• Our company reserves the right to detach one of the 6 boats for the tour, depending on availability and total number of passengers.
• The images announced are merely illustrative of our tours.
• In the case of groups of more than 10, 12 or 18 people (limits of different boats), two or more boats will be used;
• If the minimum capacity is not met on the trip, you can still book it as long as you pay the amount equivalent to the minimum capacity

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

The activities may be canceled in situations of adverse sea conditions, such as heavy fog, thunderstorms, rough seas or wind considered dangerous by us, as well as in case of technical failure. In these cases, a full refund of the amount paid will be made.

If any passenger is in an altered state of consciousness, the captain may deny boarding. It is expressly forbidden to transport illicit substances or objects. Moderate consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed on board, but safety at sea will always be the priority. Failure to comply with these rules may lead to the immediate interruption of the tour, without the right to any refund.

On shared tours, confirmation of departure only occurs when the minimum number of 8 adults is reached. If this number is not reached, the event may be canceled, with a full refund of the amount paid, or converted into a private tour, according to the customer’s preference.

CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

We understand that unforeseen events may happen. However, after Vedetanauta Unipessoal Lda confirms your reservation, we no longer accept other bookings for the same time and date. Thus, in case of cancellation, the following conditions will apply, according to the advance of the communication:

Private Events:

• More than 15 days in advance: refund of the full amount;
• Between 15 and 7 days: retention of 50% of the total amount;
• Between 7 days and 72 hours: retention of 75% of the total amount;
• Less than 72 hours: 100% retention of the total amount.

Shared Events:

• More than 7 days in advance: refund of the full amount;
• Between 7 days and 48 hours: retention of 50% of the total amount;
• Less than 48 hours: 100% retention of the total amount.

Note: Valid reasons for cancellation without costs are not considered personal, professional, health situations or weather expectations that are not confirmed on the day of the event.
